I drew these disgustingly cute rabbits in November 1996 for an animated commercial for France. Naturally they wanted them to look like Beatrix Potter's but placed in modern settings (Modern kitchens). The usual advertising bullshit. On spite of all my efforts the film never happened.
" On spite of all my efforts the film never happened".
ReplyDeleteGood.
They may be horribly cute, but they are authentic, I think.

ReplyDeleteI say the world needs more disgusting cuteness. These drawings are delightful.
ReplyDeleteSo boo to macho cynicism.
ReplyDeletefor the reason they have, thea are perfect. But elliot is right, they are so f****** cute, my grandma would die for them.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless a solid artwork.
Thanks, Jörn. The only reason I hanged them here was because I liked the way they were drawn. Nowadays I would find impossible the get so enthusiastic about illustrating for advertising. I've learned to hate it with great passion!!
