  3. I didn't know him but I checked him up and I was very impressed. He was an amazing draughstman in the vein of Heinrich Kley!!!!

  6. He caused great controversy by painting very sexy women with (supposedly) a wanton and lusty look in their eyes.
Sam Neil played him in a film called Sirens, which is not especially good but has plenty of bared breasts.
And yes - his work is similar to your Heinrich chap.
Lindsay was also a politcal cartoonist, a terrific caricaturist and a great author.
He's best known for a book called The Magic Pudding, which was made into a repulsive animated film a few years back.

  7. I only saw the cover of this book, with some horrible lettering "enhanced" with photoshop filters.

Nowadays I find MOST animated films "repulsive"...I keep saying that is a medium for idiots made by idiots (And I am one of them in both accounts)
I only make an exception and that is "Ryan"...The rest of them, starting wih ALL the japanese efforts, can be buried in the sea with no great loss to culture. (Yes, and I also mean the overblown Myazaki's animations as well!)
