Count Lev Tolstoi is alive and well and living in Bristol

Yesterday animator Geoff Dunbar and I went to Bristol to visit Aardman studios and had a lovely dinner with Peter Lord and the great Richard Williams, whose birthday is today (Many Happy Returns, Dick!). It was a great occasion with great food, great wine and terrific conversation. Everybody was in top form. We promised to repeat it again soon!

  3. Oscar,

Pete Lord and I winked at each other in Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago. Geoff's pocket square is most impressive. We should all pay such attention to our appearances as we enter this aristocratic stage of life. You hang out with a fine crowd.

¡Jajaja!

Mr.Aardman, Jenea, is the man in green shirt; Peter Lord. For Lev-Lion read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lev

We talked about you, Marv, and your film "Postalolio".

  7. Gracias por la información, Grillo.

¿Quién engañó a Roger Rabbit?

  9. It's the united nations of animation super powers in one room!!

Imagine if we could harness all the talent around that table and channel it into something.

I doff my cap in respect to the Fantastic Four.

Did you all go bungee jumping off the bridge after lunch?

I am worried about the lost toy.

  14. Hi Oscar! I am so excited, that you know Mr. Aardman! I am very big fan of her work! Oscar, can you, please, in one day, to get from him, one autograph for me????? :)

  15. Won't be able to ask Mr. Aardman for a signature because he doesn't exist, Jenea. Aardman is just the name of a company, but I wouldn't ask for it anyway.

  16. Tremendo encuentro!!!!

    Abrazo y saludos.
