  1. El otro día me entré de que una amiga es sobrina tuya.
Ahora que veo el violin de palo me acuerdo. Ella es violinista y me contó que tiene un tio que en las reuniones familiares saca un cuaderno y se pone a dibujar.
    Saludos!

  4. Hello Oscar - I've been asked many times if I was related to "Oscar Grillo." Today a friend sent me your blog address and I've really enjoyed looking at all of your art. It's amazing! I've worked in animation for 15 years as a voice and casting director and I'm also an artist.

Thank you for sharing your work with the world. I'm also a printmaker, writer and short film maker. If you're interested in my work check out my blog: www.donnagrilloart.blogspot.com

Have you worked on any cartoons lately? I think I remember seeing your name when I worked at Hanna Barbara many moons ago.

Hope you have a happy new year. Best regards,
Donna Grillo from Los Angeles, California

  5. There is a strong possibility, Donna, that we may be related. I remember my dad saying that we had some family in Brooklyn. My grandparents were from Calabria and my dad was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I lived in the UK since 1971 and I work in animation since 1960. I am sure I know a lot of people in common from the business. God knows. Maybe one day we'll meet. All the best!
